My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my sprit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has looked with favor on His lowly servant.

From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is His Name.

He has mercy on those who fear Him in every generation.

He has sown the strength of His arm, He has scattered the proud in their conceit.

He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly.

16. Lovely Lady Dressed in Blue

Lovely Lady dressed in blue, teach me how to pray!
God was just your little boy, tell me what to say!

Did you lift him up, sometimes, gently on your knee?
Did you sing to him the way mother does to me?

Did you hold his hand at night?
Did you ever try telling stories of the world?
Oh! and did he cry?

Do you really think he cares if I tell Him things . . .
little things that happen?
And do the angelsí wings make a noise?

And if I speak low?
Does he understand me now?
Tell me - for you know.

Lovely Lady dressed in blue, teach me how to pray!
God was just your little boy.  And you know the way.

My Queen!  My Mother!  I give myself entirely to you; and to show my devotion to you, I consecrate to you this day my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my whole being without reserve.  Wherefore, Good Mother, as I am your own, keep me and guard me, as your property and possession.  Amen.
