1.  Dear Lady of Guadalupe, fruitful Mother of Holiness, teach me your ways of gentleness and strength.  Hear my prayer, offered with deep-felt confidence to beg this favor, (state your request).

O Mary, conceived without sin, I come to your throne of grace to share the fervent devotion of your faithful Mexican children who call to you under the glorious Aztec title of "Guadalupe" - the Virgin who crushed the serpent.

Queen of Martyrs, whose Immaculate Heart was pierced by seven swords of grief, help me to walk valiantly amid the sharp thorns strewn across my pathway.  Invoke the Holy Spirit of Wisdom to fortify my will to frequent the Sacraments so that, thus enlightened and strengthened, I may prefer God to all creatures and shun every occasion of sin.

Help me, as a living branch of the Vine that is Jesus Christ, to exemplify His divine charity always seeking the good of others.  Queen of Apostles, aid me to win souls for the Sacred Heart of my Savior.

Keep my apostolate fearless, dynamic, and articulate, to proclaim the loving solicitude of Our Father in Heaven so that the wayward may heed His pleading and obtain pardon, through the merits of your merciful Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.

2Most gracious Virgin of Guadalupe, who blessed Mexico and all the Americas by your appearance to St. Jan Diego, intercede for the holy Church, protect the Pope, and help everyone who invokes you in their necessities.

O Mystical Rose, hear our prayers and our petitions, especially for the particular intention we pray for at this time (make your request).

As the ever Virgin Mary and Mother of the true God, obtain for us from your most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, as well as an ardent love and the precious gift of final perseverance.  Amen.

3.  Most gracious Virgin of Guadalupe, in your apparitions to St. Jan Diego at Tepeyac you promised to show mercy and compassion to all who sought your help and protection.

In love and trust I place my petitions before you (mention your requests) and ask for your motherly care.  I come to you hopeful and confident that, relying on your heavenly intercession, nothing can trouble or harm me.

As you have remained with us through your admirable image, O Blessed Lady, so now obtain for us the graces we need.  Amen.

4.  A Night Prayer to Our Lady

Night is falling, dear Mother, the long day is o'er; and before thy loved image I am kneeling once more, to thank thee for keeping me safe through the day, to ask thee this night to keep evil away.

Many times have I fallen today, Mother dear; many graces neglected since last I knelt here.  Wilt thou not in pity, mine own Mother mile, ask Jesus to pardon the sins of thy child.

I am going to rest, for the day's work is done; its hours and its moments have passed one by one.  And the God who will judge me has noted them all.  He has numbered each grace, He has counted each fall.

In His book they are written against the last day.  O Mother ask Jesus to wash them away.  For one drop of His blood which for sinners was spilt, is sufficient to cleanse the whole world from its guilt.

And if ere the dawn I should draw my last breath, and the sleep that I take be the long sleep of death, be near me, dear Mother, for Jesus' dear sake when my soul on eternity's shore shall awake.

Amen.
